Start Smart Business Bootcamp

Start Smart Business Bootcamp is the first workshop in a series offered by the Southern Humboldt Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the North Coast Small Business Development Center.

This full-day workshop is scheduled for Friday, May 17th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Sprowl Creek Campus, RM 106, in Garberville. It is designed to provide you with all the tools and resources you need to start or grow your business.

In this workshop, you will:

*Leave with a draft of your business plan
*Receive a list of all the licensing steps required in your municipality or county
*Learn about the business structures that best suit your needs
*Run a “living wage estimator” to know what the business will need in revenue in order to make you self-sufficient
*Create a draft of startup costs
*Complete a customer profile and draft of a marketing plan
*Learn the financial documents needed to manage your business and eventually apply for startup capital or equity investment
